Behavior Models & Frameworks
Behavior models give product teams a way to break a problem into parts they can examine. Some focus on how easy an action is, how much someone wants to do it, and whether they receive a prompt. Others look at how a product fits an existing behavior or encourages repeated use.
This page covers the Fogg Behavior Model, COM-B, the Hooked Model, and related ideas about motivation, ability, and behavior matching. It explains the vocabulary these approaches use in product and service design.
