Behavioral Design
Behavioral design uses an understanding of people to shape products, services, and environments. It starts with what someone is trying to do and looks at how the design helps or gets in their way. That includes the effort involved, the choices presented, and what happens after an action.
The glossary covers behavioral diagnosis, choice architecture, prompts, habits, and product development. It also explains dark patterns and other ethical questions that arise when a design is intended to influence what people do.
