Prompts & Timing
Prompts draw attention to an action. They might be a reminder, a message in a product, or a cue that’s already part of someone’s day. This section looks at how prompts connect with plans and how timing affects a person’s opportunity to act.
The definitions cover planning when to act, linking a situation with a response through a trigger-action plan, and choosing when to offer support. They also include just-in-time adaptive interventions, which use information about a person’s current circumstances to decide what support to offer and when.
